We can achieve this because of our extensive knowledge in this field, through comparisons with existing signatures, reference material, known AutoPen, secretarial and pre-printed signatures, and our own autograph archive library.

We inspect the type of ink and age of the photograph or paper used, particularly when handling older items. We are aware that a personality will develop certain idiosyncrasies of signing, such as the position of a signature on a photograph or their typical inscription. Many personalities only sign certain items, and never sign some material for their own personal reasons, some always sign first or last name. Another factor we take into consideration is the speed and flow of the signature, for example, does it look as if it has been drawn, copied or traced rather than signed.

Should you be unhappy with the autograph you have purchased for any reason, please return the item in its original or similar packing, within 28 days of purchase, for a full no-quibble refund.

Scans

We aim to have scans available for all items displayed on the website, however our catalogue numbers in excess of 10,000 items so this task may take some time to achieve. Scans will be added to the website gradually, and whenever a scan is requested.

The scans on the website are reduced in size and quality to save on database space, the scanned image does not reflect the quality of the actual item.
